PEER MEDATION

On Thursdays at morning tea Makayla and I do peer mediation.

Today a morning tea Makayla and I did peer mediation . We started of with going around the places that there most likely to be a problem.

We went pass room one. From there we went down the path to the senior play ground . We looked in the senior play ground and we carried on down the field . Then we got to the junior part and looked around there.


Then we got back to class and we put the vest and the iPad away .Then the bell rang.

TECHNOLOGY BLOG POST (MUST DO )

                                 

                          On Tuesdays the year 7/8's go to technology.

On the way to technology I was talking to the person next to me.

     I sat with Tatiana on the way there and on the way back.

I think the bus that I was in the noise level was ok . Because people were talking to people that were not beside them.

My next step is to...sit with different people on the way there and on the way back.

I can describe the structure of a Short Story

Something I have learned about the structure of short stories is:...there is always a problem and a way to fix them .

After reading some short stories two things I will remember when I write my own short story are ……make it entertaining and … have a interesting problem.

Cycle safe

In term 3 and 4 we did cycle safety.

 I thought I did well a the right turns.

I can read and interpret a range of graphs

For maths I have been learning to read and interpret a range of graphs. This relates to the National Standards as it meets the criteria of:

• I can identify patterns and trends in context, within and between data sets (Year ⅚
  • standard)

My next step is to use these in my leadership investigation next term.

Term 1 Integrated Learning - Leadership

We have been learning all about What makes a good leader.

We identified that good leaders show 6 main character traits. These are…trustworthy,resilient,integrity,goal focused,active thinker,motivational

The leadership trait that I think I show the most is…active thinker because…when i do not know something i just try and ask for help if i get stuck on the leader actives.

The leadership trait I would most like to develop is…goal focused because…so i can finish it on time.

Something NEW I have learned about leadership is…

The SOLO level that I reached during this unit of learning is………..because………

My next step in learning about leadership is to apply everything that I have learned about leadership to my own leadership roles.

Striking and Frielding

WALT: Apply Striking and Fielding activities in a range of sports and activities.

My Strengths The striking strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were…….Holding the bat hardly and moving forward to wack the ball and looking at it while wacking it.

The throwing and catching strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were…….I was good at hitting the ball.

My Next Steps To improve my striking of a ball I need to…is making the ball go more away because…it only went all little bit.

To Improve my catching and fielding I need to…use soft hands because…it makes it easier to catch it

The game that I enjoyed the most was…the bating and catching game because…it was fun and challenging
